From the expensive price tag which makes the iPad nothing more than a oversized iPhone, the iPad also does not support Flash technology for Web video and on-line games. While Apple recently defended its decision not to support Adobe Flash Technology with a 1,685-word statement by Steve Jobs entitled, "Thoughts on Flash”, the defense given by Apple appears to deflect attention away from the iPad’s own shortcomings such as draining batteries too quickly, which has long been an Achilles heel for Apple products.
As Ben Hoffman shows in a recent episode of Current TV, the Apple iPad does not allow users to view videos on popular web sites such as MySpace and The Daily Show.
